Most downloaded paper in Epilepsia
Congratulations to our colleague Jonas Duun-Henriksen and co-authors of the paper “A new era in electroencephalographic monitoring? Subscalp devices for ultra long-term recording”.
It has already been recognized as a top cited paper in Epilepsia, but we just learned that it is also in the Top 10 of the most downloaded papers during its first 12 months of publication. The list covers articles published between 1 January 2019 – 31 December 2020.
It is great that the technology of ultra long-term EEG monitoring has the attention of the neurology community, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this exciting addition to the epilepsy management toolbox.
The paper provides an overview of the subscalp EEG systems currently certified or in development, including the CE marked solution from UNEEG medical.
