Our mission: We utilize our remote patient monitoring platform to capture real-world longitudinal EEG data. Our Big Data streams are transformed by stakeholders such as physicians and drug developers into actionable insights intended to personalize treatment and reduce uncontrolled seizures in epilepsy. Through partnerships with these stakeholders, we solve neurological challenges and unlock new possibilities in treatment, drug development, digital biomarkers and neuromodulation – driving brain health therapy forward to help patients live a better life.

UNEEG medical is an ambitious, entrepreneurial medtech company based in Denmark. We pioneer cognitive technologies for collecting, monitoring and analyzing EEG data (brain activity) in people with epilepsy.
We specialize in the technology of ultra long-term subcutaneous EEG monitoring – allowing us to detect electrographic seizures in patients’ daily life, and to provide the epileptic community with objective knowledge of seizure burden – insights not available with current tools.

We understand that more research is essential to reach our ambitious long-term goals. We therefore cooperate with state-of-the art scientific and technology partners in both Europe and the US to accelerate adoption of our unique technology. We foresee further expansion beyond epilepsy, into areas such as sleep and diabetes where we believe our technology has great potential.

UNEEG medical was founded in 2005 in Denmark, with subsidiaries in Germany, the UK and the US. Active study sites have been initiated with leading epilepsy researchers and institutions in Germany, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, the US and elsewhere.

UNEEG medical is owned by T&W Medical, co-owner of WS Audiology A/S (the result of a merger between former hearing-aid company Widex A/S and Sivantos Pte. Ltd). UNEEG medical, a sister company to WS Audiology A/S, currently employs approximately 40 people.
